Ranchi Sub Centre was formed with 87 corporate members at a small room of PWD s
Subdivision Office at Doranda. Library with 1200 books and periodicals was started. A reading room was established in the Engineers Hostel, HEC. The Sub Centre was inaugurated by Pandit Binodanand Jha, the 3rd Chief Minister of Bihar.
